The Spice List | Vol. 58
Sashayed right into 2019 last week and I always love getting back to my usual post-holiday routine. The past few days have been much more productive than I expected so I’m excited to relax with some vision-boarding and a deep clean of my closet this weekend. Any local ladies interested in a clothing swap later this month? Shoot me a note here and I’ll keep you posted on the deets!Meanwhile, here are a few things making my life more flavorful lately and I hope that your new year is off to a fabulous start!XOXO — Jessie👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
NEW MOON, NEW TUNESI stumbled across this album by Amos Lee on the first day of the first new-moon of this year (this past Sunday) and the synchronicities between the lyrics and my life have not stopped since. His folksy sound is like summertime for the soul and I already know which songs will be prominent on the soundtrack of my year.
THE NIGHTINGALEThis book has been keeping me up at night because I simply haven’t been able to put down. My friend Nicole gifted it to me for Christmas and I’ve loved every minute despite the hours of missed sleep this week. I’m already excited to dive into the latest title from the same author and always love hearing your own fiction recommendations if you’ve got ‘em!
BEDROOM BLUSHI’ve been dreaming about painting an accent wall behind the bed in our room, and may have spotted the perfect hue in this home tour. Now all I need to do is starting taping off the edges AND convince myself that the name of the color matters way less than how well the final product turns out.
MORE IN 2019Hard to believe it’s been eight Januaries in a row that I’ve done a special New Year’s post here on the blog! The practice of adding more good stuff to my life (vs. swearing off shopping or dropping a couple lbs) has been a fun and productive way to kick off 2019. Disclaimer: I DO understand the irony about adding in “more release.” 😉
