Concrete Catwalk // Flowers & Festivals

Music Festival Season has been in full swing these past few weeks, and while I haven't made it to many concerts this year (except for a brief pit-stop in PHX), I've still been looking for ways to indulge my inner "flower child" in the midst of a big-city-setting.

...I'm talking more than just sticking a flower in my hair, and calling it a day.

Step One: Get your fanny to the nearest garden shop and splurge on a few new potted pretties to brighten up your space.  (BONUS if it happens to be the same place where Nancy Sinatra used to shop for her own blooms... Reason 947 why #ilovehoboken!)

Step Two: Create an outfit with JUST the right amount of laid-back-weekend mixed with a few little pops of city-girl-glam, for good measure.  (MORE added points if you can make it a mash-up of denim, sequins, leather sandals & shorts all in the same look!)

(And when in doubt?  Toss on a paisley scarf tied as a turban, and you're good to go!)
