Concrete Catwalk // Coat of Many Colors

See that face above?  That's my just-rolled-out-of-bed, don't-feel-like-running-errands face.

We had piles upon piles of things to get done this past Saturday, and that could only mean getting a very early start.  While I love being productive, I think most weekend mornings are meant to be spent sipping coffee on the couch with the news on in the background, a puppy at my feet, and a good book on my lap - Yes?

I did my best to brighten things up by pulling on my latest favorite pair of jeans (the perfect ankle-cropped length!) and tossing on one of my brightest cloaks, and then we made it a point to stop and enjoy the pretty morning light in the park across the street from our house.

Trying to take stock of the little things that we love about our neighborhood before we go!

P.S. - J. Crew is having a majorly kick-butt sale right now (extra 40% off marked down items!), and it's the perfect time to stock up on winter essentials!  The sweater in today's post is one from their cashmere shop that I've had for YEARS, but I think it might be time for me to refresh with a few new additions, if you get my drift. ;)  Happy Shopping!

P.P.S. - If you're in the NYC-area, I'd love to see you at the Self-Love Celebration that I'm co-hosting on Thursday (Feb 6th) with my sweet friend Nitika! (Find more info and snatch up a ticket here!)  February is a month where the whole country seems to be talking about love, and I'm a firm believer in the fact that taking care of yourself can be one of the most powerful and effective ways to impact others... I'll be talking a bit more about this in tomorrow's Pepper Letters, so if you can't make it to the event - Please join us there!

More photos & outfit details after the jump!
