Hi, I’m Jessie, and thanks for stopping by!
This site began in May of 2009 as a simple street style blog called The Concrete Catwalk. After a big career change, a move half-way across the country, and the obvious update to the name, it has evolved into a place where I share my own personal style, DIY projects, healthy cooking, adventures as a style expert & much more.
S&P is based in the NYC-area (Hoboken, NJ to be exact), but I enjoy spending extended amounts of time on both coasts, and hopping around to my favorite cities for both work and play… This Spring, we’ll be spending six weeks in Long Beach, CA, and other frequent stops include Scottsdale, San Diego & Kansas City (MO). Really though? I can call anywhere home as long as I’m with my sweet husband & our precious pup, Sadie Mae.
Aside from the blog, I host a creative lifestyle & confidence workshop called Pepperologie, and work as a consultant providing services for a variety of things including: on-air hosting, business coaching for bloggers & creative direction/wardrobe styling.
There’s never a dull-moment here at S&P HQ and I consider myself very blessed to be continuing to develop my dream career!
