Concrete Catwalk // Neighborhood Blooms

If you follow along with me on Snapchat you’ve seen that our gardening goals are lofty, and most days I end up having fingernails that are caked with dirt.

Bad for my manicures, but really wonderful for getting to know the neighbors who walk by our patio every evening. (ALSO wonderful for learning about growth and shaping the illustration we recently shared in our podcast about Great Love.)

One of my favorite ways to gain inspiration and knowledge is to wander the sidewalks near our home, and pay close attention to what the green-thumbs have picked to plant in their yards. All of the bougainvillea in this area are so full and happy right now, and this hedge was just begging to be the background for today’s outfit post.

At first I was like, “this dress is so pretty.” And then I saw a head to toe shot and was like, “OHHH! GIRL!! THOSE SANDALS!!!” Got me real excited.

My favorite thing about living in Florida was the flora and the fauna. The colors were unlike anything I had ever seen, and then there’ s the live oak…truly magical trees. I got to relive some of it while in Mexico this month…oh I miss it! :'(
