It’s been nearly four years since we pulled into the charming town of Hoboken, New Jersey, and I can hardly believe that we’re leaving behind yet another community that we’ve grown to love so much.
Our move to California has been on the horizon for a few months now, and while we are SO excited for the three week adventure that lies ahead, I’d be lying if I said we weren’t going to miss this little neighborhood very very much.
In honor of the place that we’ve called home for the past few years, I thought it would be fun to share a little video that G and I filmed together a few years ago…
I’d be remiss not to mention a few of our regular that have popped up since we filmed this feature… The folks at bwé kafe have pretty much become our baristas-turned-friends-turned-family, and it was so fun filming a Taxi TV feature for Vogue there last year! I visit nearly everyday and like to call it my office away from office.
I also love seeing new shops and boutiques popping up on every corner and must recommend The Golden Carrot and Little City Books if you’re looking for a special treat or some laid-back browsing.
Mr. Pepper hanging at Anthony David’s.
Anthony David’s is a great spot for BYOB wine and classy appetizers on the patio, and the olive bread at Antique Bakery will blow your mind (but get there early because it sells out fast).
Our very first apartment in Hoboken had it’s own five minutes of fame when it was featured on Design*Sponge and in Lucky Mag back in 2013, and I’m so happy that we have some great shots of the space! Also makes me super excited to start planning the decor of our new little spot by the beach, but I’ll have to share more on that later. ;)
Love picking up plants at Beethoven’s Veranda.
One of my favorite hashtags to use around town (#ilovehoboken) has been picking up steam over the past few years… I like to think that I gave it a head start, and sincerely look forward to checking in on the feed every now and again. ;)
If you EVER find yourself in this part of the country, I’d highly recommend a visit, and Hoboken will always hold a place in our hearts as it sits across the water from the sparkliest city in the world.
In the meantime, we’re kicking off our three-week tour of the United States TODAY, and I’d love to have you follow along for our usual #PepperAdventure antics. ;) We’ll be sharing snippets of our journey through a super fun instagram take-over with our friends at Sprint, and then of course: podcasting regularly and snap-chatting my little heart out.
