A few things currently in my mind, filling my heart and on the horizon for this season…

Starting to work more outerwear into my everyday, and remembering that I need to update my hat collection before it snows… What do we think of this type of topper with short hair?

Cooking everything that I can from this brilliant book.  It’s inspired by one of my favorite restaurants on the West Coast, and I love recreating the dishes at home!

Loving these gold scissors as a quirky hostess gift – This is the perfect time of year to have a few extra goodies on hand in case of an impromptu invitation.

Working on some fun new things behind the scenes… Stay tuned, and I’ll let you know when to expect the launch!

Wearing this boxy Theory coat over EVERYthing.

Reading this darling book that I found on my shelf… It was my mom’s in the 70’s and a total must for all animal lovers!

Listening to Frank Ocean croon while I cook dinner after dark. What’s your favorite evening music these days?

Adding snacks to my salads, and coming up with new flavor combinations nearly everyday!

Playing a new board game after dinner with the dudes… Makes us feel like small children, but the amount of joy it brings is totally worth it. (Plus: Quality time!)

Buying new running shoes this week – I ran 60 miles last month, and fresh treads are a must!

Drinking cocktails made from a clever kind of spirit with delicious foodie flavors.  They’ve brought majorly creative mixology to our recent celebrations.

Planning for a bright and beautiful first week as a 30-year-old… Starting today! ;)

I LOVE “Ticket to Ride” We call it “trains” at my house and we – including my in-laws – are addicted to it. You should also look into “Survive” because it’s a great game for 2 people as well.

P.S. I just found you/ your blog via Hilary Rushford and I love everything! I totally relate to your style. I’m excited to see what’s next!
