delicious-life

[UPDATE: This giveaway closed on October 15th… Congrats to our winner Jenna Levy, and many thanks to everyone who entered!]

I have a very important question for you today:

How on EARTH would you spend $1000 to make life feel a bit more bubbly?!

Tickets to see your favorite musician in concert?
A shopping spree to stock up on new fall must-haves?
Spa day with your best girlfriends?

My brain immediately starts flooding with destinations and ideas and experiences, and I’m reminded of the times that my day-to-day has already felt pretty dang deliciousI always love finding ways to create my own version of a happy, healthy & flavorful life, and today am SO happy to have Diet Coke help me bring YOU the opportunity to #GetATaste of the very same thing!

bubbly-life Statement jewelry // Sunset flight // Antique rug // Party bites // New fall styles // Romantic night

Without further ado, let’s dive right into the fun…

Diet Coke is giving one lucky S&P reader the chance to “Get a Taste” of their own bubbly life with $1000, and I’m so excited at the thought of making someone’s week with such a treat!

Keep reading to find out how to enter below, and let’s get those ideas flowing!

Entry Details:

  • In a comment below this post, simply tell me how you’d use the $1000 prize to #GetATaste of the bubbly life!
  • The giveaway closes at Midnight on Wednesday, Oct15 – Be sure to leave your comment by then for a chance to win.
  • Winner will be chosen at random in a drawing-style format, and I’ll notify the lucky reader on Thursday, October 16th.

So excited to read your responses below, and I hope your weekend is full of the best bubbles ever!

Ps. – You already know how much I LOVE to travel, but frequent flying can certainly take it’s toll from time to time. Even though I’m not a big soda-drinker in my day to day, the one occasion that I love treating myself to a Diet Coke is when I hop on a plane to head somewhere new.  Now that it has become such a part of my routine – I get excited for the first sip at the very thought of my next trip!

We’re leaving next weekend for a two-week, three-leg stint (OY VAY) and that means there will be a LOT of tasty bubbles happening in my very near future. ;)  Stay tuned to my instafeed to follow along with our adventures, and I can’t wait to announce the big winner next week!

No question for me it would be a trip to Costa Rica to actually get better at surfing and a gopro to film it. I could use a real vacation and the idea of being the water learning to surf makes my heart smile. I want a go pro four to capture all kinds of adventures for my new blog etc. Also the idea that most of the surf school have girls weeks makes the prospect of my way too busy friends out of LA and onto a board sound fantastic!! Thanks :) even the dream made my day start better since I have to work one day off :)

I would definately love to see my father experience one last bubble!!! Would love to take him on an extravagant day trip, limo and all filled with Diet Coke drinks (he loves his diet coke)! He cannot travel anymore due to his diaylsis treatments, so this would be awesome for him! A bubblicious moment to remember forever!!!

  • Reply Christine October 10, 2014 at 11:51 am

I would… grab a few of my favorite girlfriends and hit the NYC streets for a little retail therapy. This mama could use it – I haven’t been shopping in 10 months! :(
And then probably send my mother-in-law some Diet Coke, since it’s her favorite (even for breakfast!)

Oh, the places I could go in a more #Bubblylife!! This girl has some serious Insta-wanderlust. I want to explore! I’d really like to lounge in a hammock in a tropical rainforest sort of place (I had some freelance writing for a luxury travel company and MAN! so many dreams!) or wander around the English countryside for a bit. One order of a #taste of the world please! (-:

Ah, what a festive giveaway! So perfect for your personality. :)

First of all, as a self-professed Diet Coke addict, I would definitely buy a few cans for the apartment. :) I would use the rest of the money to fly home to Tennessee (after living in New York, I’m feeling a little homesick these days) and host a beautiful, bubbly dinner party for my favorite girl friends. I would rent a beautiful space to decorate with flowers (something like these http://www.sheahopelyflowers.com/galleries/center-pieces/) to celebrate how much each woman means to me. I’m so proud of my friends and what they’re doing with their lives, whether it’s going to law school, teaching students Spanish, being a civil servant or raising two amazing children. Every woman deserves a night to feel special, and I would love to be able to give my friends—my inspirations—that bubbly night, complete with delicious food, champagne and (of course) Diet Coke.

Thanks for the giveaway, Jessie!! I hope you’re well. :)

  • Reply Mary Loudermilk October 10, 2014 at 12:36 pm

Thanks for the great giveaway, Jessie!

I LOVE this giveaway Jessie! So fun to think about all the things I would do with a $1000. I know I would definitely use the money to play a girls trip with my Mom, she is my biggest fan and I am hers. Sadly our lives are just so busy that we rarely get time to just enjoy each others company! We are always giving each other 5 minute catchups via text or quick phone calls. I would love more than anything to be able to go away on a girls SPA trip and just relax and drink champagne!! That is how I would #GetATaste of the bubbly life!

We always have a strict budget when we go, but I’d love to spoil my sweet kiddos, just once. They are so thankful and gracious and hardly ever ask for or expect treats/gifts. While I’m at it, I might even treat myself to the Dooney and Burke Disney purse I’ve had my eye on. Fashion and whimsy- my fave.

I would take the opportunity to go and visit my husband in Jamaica. November makes our first anniversary and due to the long process of going through immigration we are unable to be together since our wedding. And of course wedding’s aren’t cheap so we’ve been working our butts off to save just enough so we can be together for at lease one day. Diet Coke would bring the bubbles if I could see my husband again. #GetaTaste of the good life and #dreambig

My husband and his brothers are all going to be home in Arkansas at once for the first time in 5+ years, but one of them has to leave just before we can celebrate Thanksgiving as a family. It can get really expensive to cook for a large crowd, so if I had $1,000, I would host an early extra Thanksgiving with all the fixings that they could enjoy together, and I would knock a wall out of our dining room and patch up the floor so that we could fit the whole crowd of 20+ into one place for the meal. I know that this, coupled with a long-awaited turkey-bowl football game would really help the boys #getataste of the bubbly life while they have the chance.

I would buy a brand new bike. My old one broke last week and I can’t afford to buy anything other than another old cheap frame to keep it going. I use it every day and I feel like someone cut off my life line since it’s been gone. I’d use the remaining money to spruce up our apartment. #getaste

    Thanks!

Squee! Diet Coke surely does enjoy making folks’ lives more bubbly! I think if I were to be lucky enough to have a spare grand lying around, I’d splurge on a pair of Louboutins. Why not? :)

  • Reply Lauren Black October 14, 2014 at 8:26 pm

A $1000 from Diet Coke?? I would surely spend it to visit my lovely boyfriend who currently lives across the country in sunny California! While I live in the friendly mitten called Michigan – it’s increasingly difficult to find the money and vacation time to make th most of our visits. We squeeze in trips when we can but it would be nice to have a vacation together that actually felt like one!

  • Reply Eleanor October 14, 2014 at 10:17 pm

I am bubbly, so every day is a Bubbly Life. To get and give a bigger gulp, I would use the $1000 to go travel on an around the world ticket. I love travel (I travel weekly for work) but I cannot wait for an opportunity to travel around the world to explore the rest of the non-corporate world, and #getataste of the other cultures, foods, people and architecture. This video (http://bit.ly/tnqa1014) inspires me and I want to inspire wanderlust and share a passion for travel.
