After dealing with the unfortunate issue of having my original flights to Alt Summit cancelled, rebooked, delayed and then finagled around one last time… It appears as though I’ll finally be on my way to Utah in a few hours! (Fingers and tootsies crossed that the snow melts quickly and that the journey to Salt Lake City is uneventful, to say the least.)
Since packing and traveling have been occupying a ginormous-suitcase-sized part of my brain recently (just under 50 lbs, naturally), I thought it might make sense to share a Beauty Bite with you that goes along with the same theme.
After trying a handful of various facial towelettes over the years, I’ve always felt like they’ve left quite a lot to be desired… Many are heavily fragranced and seem to leave behind a strange residue – two things that tend to BUG when it comes to beauty products, and both are instant deal-breakers for me almost every single time.
When I first nabbed a sample of these Yes to Cucumbers towelettes, I was blown away by how fresh and clean they smelled (like icy cold spa water!), plus the fact that they consistently remove all of my make-up AND come in a resealable little pouch that is totally spill proof (and carry-on-worthy!)? It was pretty much love at first swipe.
The entire Yes To Carrots line of skincare products has been around for a while now, and I can honestly say they’re one of my favorite drugstore pick-ups that I hardly ever leave our corner store without…
I’ve got my little “cukes” all packed away and ready to go today, and I know that avoiding any strange hotel soaps* or borrowed make-up removers will keep my face clear of breakouts and as happy as it can be while I’m gone.
Do you have any travel-worthy beauty staples that you can’t live without? I’m on the road so often that having an arsenal of supplies is usually worth the extra effort, and I love hearing about the latest and greatest from YOU, my Pepitas!
P.P.S. – I always opt for reusable washcloths when cleaning my face at home, but the fact that these are disposable makes them just too perfect for life on the go… Just realized they’d be awesome to bring with you to the gym, as well!
*One of my least favorite things in the whole wide world.
