Thanksgiving is filled with special traditions for most, but we love creating our own new memories just as well, and this week has been full of embracing an attitude of adventure.
Our time on the West Coast has been such a blessing so far, and I hope you’re ok with me sharing a bit of my heart instead of a style post here with you this morning…
Thinking about all we have to be thankful for is one of the best ways to boost happiness, and I think that probably explains why my smile might be a bit shinier and my heart feels like it’s just about to burst.
I’m truly grateful for so many things, but the following tidbits are overwhelming me with the weight of their wonder this morning…
I’m thankful for a body that doesn’t always work perfectly, but it is resilient enough to let me take it for early morning runs along the water.
I’m thankful for a husband who loves me despite the things I like least about myself, and knows that one of the quickest ways to my heart is a good adventure and some quality time in the sunshine.
I’m thankful for a God who loves us beyond our wildest dreams, knows the depths of our hearts and paints fiery evening skies that provide a beautiful backdrop for brilliant memories.
I’m taking the rest of the week off to focus on being the best Auntie Jessie that I possibly can (gifts and hugs and giggles for everybody!), but I hope you have an incredibly blessed holiday and feel free to join me on instagram to see where our adventures take us next!
XOXO – Jessie Pepper
