Back at it after a gorgeous Spring-like weekend, and I’m trying not to concentrate on the fact that I have a to-do list as long as my sweater sleeves.
Is anyone else in the Northeast just dying to start wearing your warm-weather gear again? I simply couldn’t wait any longer to give these new platform sandals a go, and that meant exercising a bit of artistic license by adding a pair of socks to keep my toes warm. I’ve totally loved the socks with sandals look for the past few years anyway, and was glad that I finally remembered to give the trend a try for myself. (Meanwhile, here are some other ways I’ve used socks as a notable accessory for several different seasons and styles!)

I do adore bright, brilliant jewel colors with prints. They really do pop. However, I must admit that the platform sandals with socks are definitely not my cup of tea. I say wait until it’s warm enough to wear sandals. If your toes are cold then grab some cute pumps, and the sandals will live another day.
