A mish-mash of pieces I’m loving lately (isn’t it always?), I wore this look a few weeks back for a little date night with my main man, and a launch party to celebrate the opening of the newest Crossroads Trading Company here in NYC… Yes! Keep reading for the the full outfit, and find out a bit more about my thinking behind the look.
OH, and speaking of my hot date: It was so fun seeing Mr. Pepper featured on one of my fave blogs last week… head over to check out the feature, and you’ll get a chance to learn a bit more about “the man behind the blog“!
I’ve had this vintage dress hanging in my closet for quite some time now, and have only pulled it out to wear once or twice… It has always seemed like one of those pieces I might reach for more often if I could alter it to be a bit more “wearable”.
I’ve got a fun little dress-makeover already in the works, but wanted to give it one last go in it’s original state before I made any nips or tucks. :) Was originally thinking that I’d lop off the sleeves and leave it a maxi-dress (like this one), but after wearing I may have switched my mind to bringing up the hem.
