Sometimes it feels like one of my main fashion missions each winter is to avoid blending into the sea of basic black coats and outerwear that populate the NYC streets and subways during the middle of winter. A plausible solution? Wearing one of the fluffiest (and wildest!) warm coats that I own, and adding bright flashes of winter citrus shades to keep things fresh and full of flavor.
Also, do you recognize that tank top worn as a vest? I wore it last when the temps were probably a whopping 70 degrees warmer, but I thought it was funny how the color scheme stayed almost exactly the same.
Keep reading to see what else I'm wearing underneath all those layers (I promise it's cute!), and a full shoppable breakdown of the look.
Looking for a tangy little tote of your own? I scoped out a handful of great options from around the web, and you can check them out here...

I adore that yellow bag! And while, to be honest, I'm not very fond of the coat, the layers you were hiding underneath are lovely! I love the vest over the blouse, it's not something you might always think to do but it looks great!
