Concrete Catwalk // Fedora-Topped Florals

What happened to the beautiful crisp and sunny Fall mornings we're supposed to be having this month?

I've been spending most of my days bundled up inside, but managed to make it to a meeting yesterday and snapped some rainy-day-outfit shots in the process... See below for the full (floral!) look, and how I keep people on the street entertained by tromping through puddles in style.

Photography by Sara Kerens

What ways do you combat the weather on a gloomy day?  Cute rain boots?  Bright colors?  New shiny jewelry from beautiful, talented & sweet friends?  A glass of wine while you snuggle on the couch upon returning home?

Mine's generally a combo of all of the above, but I'd love to hear your other genius ideas in the comments. ;)

  7. Either they have reissued that fabric in the blazer, or that might have been mine. I'm just saying....
I am always in hats, looking like the Mad Hatter, to keep the sun out of my eyes. You look great and good to go stomping through those puddles. I'm a vintage person, so if I wear certain vintage pieces, I'd look like I was 'left behind'
Gave a bunch away last week. But this picture reminds me I still have a bright great blazer, and not to give it away.

  10. Jessie- I love everything about this outfit! This is why I'm excited for fall, fashion is so much easier! Throw on a blazer, boots and some jewelery and you instantly look polished!

Now I have to go find a blazer like this...
