Good grief, I am SO excited for this weekend… G and I are headed to San Fransisco for a somewhat spontaneous little vacation, and then I’ll stay on into next week for an exciting project that I’m so excited to be able to share with you soon.
In the meantime, I’m busy packing and prepping some great posts for you while I’m away (with the help of my new intern, Sarah – more on her sweet self later), and trying to get ahead on work so that I can relax and enjoy all the city has to offer!
Would love to hear if you’ve got any must-try recommendations for eating/shopping/exploring, and I’m so excited to find some fun new spots with Mr. Pepper. Plus, you guys always have the BEST advice! Feel free to email me or just leave your thoughts in the comments section, and I’ll be back tomorrow with an outfit post and more details. :)
XOXO – Jessie

Good luck on your trip. I always enjoy taking a bicycle ride over the Golden Gate bridge and taking the ferry back to SF from Sausalito.
Have a great time! I can’t wait to hear about your trip, I want to visit SF so badly!

We had our honeymoon in Santa Cruz, which is about an hour from San Fransisco and made a couple of trips into the city.
Definitely bring a sweater – it will be chilly in the city!
If you are near Santa Cruz, go try Aloha Island Grill for lunch. Their grilled teriyaki chicken is amazing. We drove by on one of our first days in town, smelled this place and decided that’s where we’d have lunch. We ended up eating there three times in the ten days we were there. :)
so jealous!!

The lovely ladies of Poshmark are located in San Fran (HQ). Stop by there, I’m sure they’d love to have you visit :)
Have fun!

Defo try Jeremy’s http://www.jeremys.com/) for vintage designer goodies. Eats- head to the mission district – Tartine for pastries and Delfina for pizza, Bi-rite for ice cream!! Ferry Building for more eats (miette for macaroons- yum) and shopping hit up union Sq and chinatown for fun trinkets!!! Have a great time and bring layers!!!
Lucky! I always want to go to SF! haha
I highly recommend Le Boulange for pastries/breakfast – so delish! And Hog Island Oyster for seafood – their clam chowder is amazing, and their grilled cheese is really good! For pics, look here: http://www.laurenlovestoeat.com/2011/06/breakfast-quick-bite-at-la-boulange.html (la boulange) and http://www.laurenlovestoeat.com/2011/06/san-francisco-oyster-heaven-at-hog.html (Hog Island)
have an amazingggg time! :)
1) The ferry building. Plan to spend an hour; circle it once looking at everything; then circle once more buying and eating. There’s just so much awesome awesome stuff there.
2) The Legion of Honor is a beautiful regional museum, and has a fantastic walk along a cliff surrounded by juniper trees, and looking over the Golden Gate.
3) The Japanese Tea Garden, especially on a sunny day.
4) San Francisco has some really really stunning churches of all sorts of architectural styles. There’s the Mission of course, which is one of the original California Missions, and near all the awesome Mission District eats. Others include: St. Dominic’s, St. Ignatius, Grace Cathedral, the Orthodox Cathedral on Geary who’s name I can never remember (it’s out past 25th street), and, though I am not sure you can tour them, a few beautiful synagogues, too, and the sweet shingle Swedenbourgian Church on Fillmore.
5) Skip fisherman’s warf, and pier 39 and other tourist stops. But don’t skip the cable car. Some things are touristy because they truly are awesome. :)
Zushi Puzzle if you like sushi. Piazza Pelegrini in North Beach for some good grub and fun walk around people watching. I know it’s cheesy, but if you want to see some awful tourists and have an awesome hot fudge sundae, visit Ghirardelli and then hop on the cable car up to Union Square and get your shop on! Hope you guys have a fabulous time in the best city in the west (and my personal world-wide fave)!
