I’m a firm believer that when putting together an outfit, it’s all about balance. Keep reading to see how I pulled together the details of this look that I found at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
I fell in love with the rock-and-roll look of this studded handbag, and so I balanced it out by intentionally adding the rest of the pieces to keep it from feeling less like make-believe and more like me. A buttoned-up blouse (in a sassy sheer), a bright vintage scarf & sweet scalloped shorts seemed to do just the trick, but when deciding on my shoes – I went with sky-high stiletto booties for a little extra added edge.

I love all of your outfits and how you mix and match so many textures and styles into one amazing outfit! On that note, I see in this outfit you are wearing a shirt that is a little bit sheer…I recently have began to love the very sheer button up tops and I am having a problem choosing what to wear underneath. (I just bought a white one and it is really see through!). I sometimes wear a nude tank top under, but it is HOT in Florida! Any suggestions?
