Jessie is gorgeous. Beautiful thick hair, radiant skin tone, bright eyes, and healthy muscles. She in no way reflects a "scary" appearance and does not look like a person who doesn't eat. You anonymously posting in her public comments that she needs to "start eating again" only reflects how inconsiderate you are of her feelings. She has shown you a great amount of kindness and has shown us how classy we already know her to be by asking you to email her privately, if you do have a genuine concern. Next time, post with your name and leave something encouraging or don't post at all. Her blog is a very positive and fun place to visit and I hope you can look back through her archives and rethink what you've said.

ReplyDeleteComment #1: Absolutely uncalled for. First of all, a public forum is no place for "advice" so personal and impacting. You are making a judgment call for someone you do not know anything about beyond what she posts from day to day. From personal experience, a slender, active person who was always assumed to be anorexic, it is extremely hurtful when someone accuses you of unhealthful eating habits. It affects your self-esteem and your psyche and can cause more damage than you realize.

I love wearing my Nana's jewelry! I think its great that your vintage ring and necklace are hand-me-downs from your Nana; I'm sure when you wear them you think of her fondly (I know I do). You look beautiful.
