Concrete Catwalk // Teal Topper

It’s definitely not a secret that I love the process of getting dressed everyday, but one of my favorite things to get ready for is going out to dinner with my sweet G.  Being the technologically reliant couple that we are, he asked me out for a date on twitter last Friday, and my first thought (after an enthusiastic response) was “Ooooh, what am I going to wear?!”

I know he loves me in blues & greens so I thought it would be the perfect chance to break out my brand new cobalt Chelsea cropped trousers from Ann Taylor.  I topped them off with a metallic teal top (obsessed with the tulip-shaped sleeves!), some vintage accessories, fierce heels & the beaded necklace that he gave me for Christmas.

Another thing I know he likes?  When I wear natural balm instead of my favorite bright lipstick colors… I think there’s something about being more kissable that makes it easy to bypass one of my favorite go-to “accessories” every once in a while. ;)
