Concrete Catwalk // Mixed Greens

This turquoise-y tunic (not to be confused with the teal top) is one of my favorite vintage finds... the shift shape, woven texture & quirky mixed-green colors make for the perfect top to a basic pair of bottoms.  Keep reading to see how I style it up with distressed boyfriend jeans and mismatched tan leather accessories...

Did your keen eye pick up another fun mixed-color duo in the photos above?  The double-dipped mani has been a recent go-to of mine, and for this version I made sure to swipe on my bright lips to match!  After the major coordinated-nailpolish + lipstick moment in the 80s/90s, I remember thinking I'd never jump on that train again, but it's been fun to bring the tone-on-tone trend into my beauty routine every once in a while.

Do you ever match your lip color to your fingernails?  Beauty DO or beauty DON'T?

Top to Bottom:
Tiny skull earrings - c/o Bing Bang for Bauble Bar
Tunic - Vintage, thrifted (similar)
Leather jacket - H&M (similar)
Necklace - Angel Court Jewelry
Jeans - Forever 21 (similar)
Tech case as a clutch - DKNY c/o TJ Maxx & Marshall's (similar)
Heels - Target (similar)

  5. I love the idea of matching lipstick and nail polish shades, but I really love to wear blues, greens, and purples on my nails. I don't think that would translate so well onto my lips, haha! But definitely a cool idea, and I love how you pulled it off! That is SUCH a beautiful lip color on you!
