Concrete Catwalk // Seaside Scallops

April 16, 2012

These are the last of our vacation shots from California, and the warm-weather-wear seems especially appropriate for today since it’s supposed to be 85 degrees in NYC!  I’m not complaining, though… I’ll take a sunny afternoon any day, and as you can see, am already having fun trying out some summer-time dressing ideas that will carry me through the next few months.  Probably sounds crazy, but I’m actually excited about the chore of swapping out my seasonal wardrobes this week!

I can’t get enough of quirky shorts in interesting textures, colors & prints, and am also excited to experiment with some fun new sunglasses trends.  How about you?  What trends are you most looking forward to styling up this Summer?

P.S.  Do you like my little brogues with the neon accent?  Stop by tomorrow to get the step-by-step process, and try this easy DIY for yourself!

Oh Jessie another effortlessly chic and casual look (great polkadots)! Can’t wait to see the DIY shoes (love the neon trim) – weirdly I have neon paint in my eBay basket right now waiting to be purchased! (Love the photo by the VW splitty btw – I’ll be holidaying in SW England in a month in one of those we’ve hired! I’m subconsciously channelling you again…;)

your sense of style is really unique and totally works for you. I love scalloped shorts; I think sometimes they can be way too “sweet” but the color of these eliminates that. Love! And your shoes!? Love love.

    I’m having a GIVEAWAY – drop by :)
