Concrete Catwalk // Stained-Glass Skirt

March 12, 2012
Photos graciously taken by my sweet friend Sarah

This skirt is one of my all-time favorite vintage finds from Kansas City.  It has the most beautful embroidered Saks Fifth Avenue label hand sewn to the inside, and the pretty geometric pattern reminds me of the stained-glass in an old church.

I was at first planning to wear it in a more lady-like manner (a la collared shirt and cable knit sweater, like this), but as I was getting dressed, I kind of unintentionally went with an edgier, less expected vibe.

I’m wrapping things up down in Texas today (what a fun weekend!), and headed home to my sweetie pie and my pup tonight – YAY!  Missed them. :)  Tomorrow, I’m posting a brand new feature here on S&P, so be sure to stop by for some kitchen tricks that can help you start to slim down for summer!

See ya then!

Top to Bottom:
Necklace – Angel Court Jewelry
Crop top – Borrowed from Elizabeth via Delightful Dozen
Leather jacket – Forever 21 (similar)
Watches – Vintage, were my Nana’s
Skirt – Vintage, thrifted (a pretty feather-print one here)
Handbag – Botkier
Heels – Asos (similar)
