Concrete Catwalk // Blue Hues

February 6, 2012

Added a few bold blues to an otherwise neutral outfit, and it made me remember how much I love wearing this bright color!  Added bonus, I totally dropped a spoonful of blueberries down the front of me before I walked out the door (true story), and the stain didn’t even show up (at least that’s what I’m telling myself)!

HA! Outsmarted again, you delicious little fruit.

Also, if your socks are going to peek out – they might as well be a fun color, correct?

Top to Bottom:
Blouse – Vintage, thrifted (similar)
Blazer – Vintage, thrifted (similar)
Necklace – Angel Court Jewelry
Riding Pants – Joe Fresh (similar)
Handbag – Vintage, thrifted (similar)
Silk scarf – c/o Veil Vision (similar)
Teal socks – J. Crew (similar)
Booties – Asos (I like these much better!)

Cute post Jessie, I love bright blue too. And to add to your ‘down the shirt’ series… this morning I was adjusted my broken necklace that I keep fastened with a safety pin (yes, pretty ghetto) and the open pin fell down my blouse. I still haven’t found it. I’m so scared that at given moment or movement I discover the pin wedged in my chest. Eeek. I’ll think I’ll just feel better if I believe that the pin is actually on the floor of my bedroom and I just missed it.

Jessie, first of all I love your new blog banner! The tiniest, minor update can change the whole look of the blog :) very cute. Secondly, you are a huge inspiration for me to try to go thrifting more. A lot of your outfits are super quirky and fun, yet so feminine because of the awesome pieces you find! So, thanks for that :)
