Business on top, party on the bottom? If there’s one place a look like this works, it’s DEFinitely a blogging conference. The sequins and sparkles were so liberally sprinkled throughout most of the outfits, and there are probably still pieces of glitter embedded in the carpet of the Grand America. :)
I decided to make my new favorite shorts do double duty and I wore them to the mini-parties on Friday night, as well. Just a quick change of the shoes & bag…
A swipe of bright pink lipstick, a different shirt, and the addition of one of my favorite DIY’s: my leather collar necklace, and we were ready to scoot out the door in minutes.
Don’t you love it when an outfit can go from day to night seamlessly… I’d love to know if you have any standout pieces that make for a unique, but easy transition? Help your stylish sisters out, and share with us in the comments!

Love sequins, especially on those shorts! Love the gold paired with neutral hues and that blue!
LOVE both ways about the shorts, particularly the way the colors work in the nighttime one. And you’re right, that is perfect for a blogger conference!

OH SEQUIN SHORTS! I have a sequin short, flowy skirt that I take from day to night. Love sequins in general.
Love the first outfit. The colors and shoes are perfect!

Sequin shorts are simply amazing. I always find that bottoms are easier to transition day to night than tops. Just keep those shorts (or that skirt, or those fab jeans) on, switch the top, grab a clutch, and BOOM! Super Girl makes the fashion switch again!
Both those outfits are so good! My easiest day to night piece is my sequin skirt–chambray shirt for the day, blazer and heels for the night!:)
Again, another beautifully styled outfit(s)! Just love the nightime sweater/collar version, and your legs look killer in the polkadot tights!

Jessie, I am obsessed with that pastel sweater paired with sequins shorts and polka dot tights. It’s so feminine and sweet but still cool. Love, love, love it!
pretty sure this is one of my favorite outfits on you ever. look at those teeny lil pins! if it was possible to perform a leg transplant, I’d advise you to sleep with one eye open in Tex-ass. can’t wait to see your beautiful face :)
