i only make this face at gerard when he’s pushing my buttons… thought it was funny. ha.
love the details – sweet little gold buttons and an open back…
plus it’s lined with a pretty patterned fabric!
this is what happens when your friends stand behind your husband while he takes outfit photos!
i have been wanting to wear/take photos of this dress for MONTHS
and i’m so glad that i’m finally able to share it with you!
my sweet friend, shannon happens to be a talented local designer/seamstress,
and when she approached me wanting to design a dress together
so that she could make it for me, i could hardly believe my ears!
we had such a great time collaborating on this piece,
and i just know i’ll have it and wear it for a very long time.
even more special because it was made by a dear friend, no?
(p.s. i steamed it before wearing, but didn’t think about the +1 hour car ride
to the wedding that i wore it to. should have thought that through a little better!)
happy friday, friends! hope you have a wonderful weekend! XO

This is so great Jess! That dress is adorable and so are you!!
any news on how the BEAUTIFUL wedding? or the bride and groom’s phenomenal ceremony? i bet that was great…but not enough to make the post. sure seems to be ALL about you and a wrinkled project dress…
thanks for your kind words, friends!
@anon- the wedding was indeed gorgeous… can i assume that you were there from your accurate description? if you’re new to the blog, i’ll explain that i generally post more about the outfits i wear, as opposed to what i do while i’m wearing them. plus, the bride and groom are still on their honeymoon, and i definitely didn’t want to post any of the darling photos of their day here on the blog without their permission. thanks for sharing your thoughts, though!
You look stunning – this color is amazing on you! I can’t wait to see you rock it a little closer to my hometown…!
