my miniature version of color-blocking on a teeny-tiny scale
(teal dress, periwinkle slip, cobalt bandeau)
could only be done in one hue on saturday night,
as we attended a going away party for two of our best friends in kc.
with record-breaking temps, the hair had to stay off the neck
(i tried my best hand at one of blair's sweet signature up-dos)
and i kept the rest of the outfit playful to keep from looking overdone.
