trying to dry out from these crummy storms we’ve been having
(and buried under piles of work)
so i’m keeping it short today, folks.
this happen to be one of my favorite vintage dresses
(i mean, it’s got pixelated flowers and lots of frills, what more could you want?!)
it also happens to be almost floor length, but in most cases,
i like to blouse it over a belt to make it shorter.
also, i saw a photo of someone last week carrying a purse like a clutch,
and i thought it was cool so i tried it.
not sure how i feel about that yet, but here it is anyway.
thoughts?
handbag – vintage, thrifted
ring – vintage, etsy
bracelets – j. crew
faux leather jacket – h&m
oxfords – asos

What a fabulous dress! You look gorgeous!
I like it very much with the leather jacket, without it’s a bit too vintage for my taste! :D Whatevs you could wear a potato sack and still look chic! :)

PS loving the bloggy changes too!
I can’t believe it’s almost floor-length! I never would have thought to try that belt trick.
thanks, ladybirds! and love the feedback on the jacket, gabby-girl!
What a fabulous dress! I love how utterly badass it looks with the leather jacket!
I love how you paired an obviously vintage dress with the leather jacket and peep-toe oxfords for such an adorable and modern look.
You look awesome as usual!
Absolutely love those shoes and the cardigan. Sorry, I’m thinking all brown right now.
I love how you wore the purse as a clutch – it was the first thing I noticed! When I’m reunited with my handbags, I’m totally going to copy you! Love the shape you gave to the dress by belting it – so feminine!
