the west 18th street fashion show is by far one of the biggest style events of the year, here in kansas city, and it is one that i always look forward to whole heartedly! this year’s show is the 11th annual and will be held at sundown on saturday, june 11th. all 18 of the handpicked local designers will be showing collections that are coordinated with the show’s theme: “summer in spain.”
i’m so excited i can hardly stand it!! it all takes place on the eclectic crossroads block of 18th street between baltimore and wyandotte, and if you are at all interested in fashion, design or the creative arts, you should definitely try to make it out. as if it couldn’t get any better, the event is free (with ticketed seats starting at $35) and i would LOVE to see you there. :)
