Concrete Catwalk // Spring Mix

when i look at this outfit now, it seems like kind of a weird mix of pieces

but when i had it all on, it seemed to work.

we were heading to a friends birthday happy hour,

and i already had the top on from a photoshoot i was in that day (eek!)

and chose the shorts because i had my legs waxed the day before (ouch!)

and added the blazer so i wasn’t baring too much skin (phew!).

corset tank – forever21 (last worn here)

blazer – banana republic, hand me down from a friend

chambray shorts – j. crew (last worn here)

sandals – dkny, endless.com

necklace – early jewelry
handbag – j. crew

i think this is the quintessential easy going spring outfit. i love it! floral, denim, blazer, heels…..what’s not to love?? you look fabulous!

You forgot to mention where the bag is from. And I am in love with it! Been thinking about a silver bag for awhile now and this one looks perfect. And so is your outfit by the way.

ohh, you’re right, carrie! it’s from j. crew about a year ago, and was actually more gold when i first got it, but i wear it ALLL the time, so now it’s more silver. (that’s also probably why i forgot to include a notation about where it’s from… i barely even noticed it in the picture!)
