Concrete Catwalk // Spotted

i thought i was SO over denim jackets
(ever since freshman year of high school, i think)
but i cannot get enough of this little guy lately…
i had thrifted it a while back intending to cut the sleeves off to make it a vest
but i ended up bleaching the cuffs instead!
it’s gotten a little bit of a buzz around the internets
and mi amiga, jentina, even decided to make one for herself!
can we please talk about how adorable and stylish she is?
ok, thanks.
(don’t you love how she styled it up with the mixed prints?!?)
if you try this DIY for yourself, send photos! i’d love to see your take on the trend!
denim jacket – thrifted, DIY
dress – vintage, thrifted (altered)
necklace – anthropologie
belt – clothing swap
tights – charlotte russe
wedges – target

I love the leopard print dress, I just posted an outfit with my new leopard scarf! Don’t you just love Jentine? I just discovered her blog recently.
    Have a great weekend.

I’ve been trying to find a “new” thrifted jean jacket to try this with since I can’t bear to do it to my other beloved thrifted GAP one. :)

This is very cute! I love both of the outfits. I have one jean jacket and I haven’t worn it for a year now! And thanks for that nice email you sent! :)

Love the jean jacket over the leopard. Perfect. I pulled my old one out of the donate pile a while ago and have been wearing it over everything lately. It is the perfect spring topper.

I think I decided to store my denim jacket, which admittedly hadn’t been worn in years when it came time to pack up my house in Portland. If it’s there when I return to the States, I’m totally doing this! Love it!

Yep, the denim jacket is perfect with SO MUCH this spring. I love the idea of wearing a belt with it–I never thought of this one. Is it comfortable though? I feel like I might be tugging on myself all day. And sweating since it’s 90 here…yuck.
