i’ve been experimenting with many different variations of the turban trend

for quite a while, (here, here, here, here, here & here)

and after wearing my favorite one to the IFB conf last month

and having at least a dozen people ask me where i found it,

i realized that most people think they have to find

the perfect one before they try the trend for themself.

i’ve taken a bit of a different route,

and whenever the inspiration strikes to add one to my look,

i just make it myself using one of my favorite scarves!

everytime i got asked where my turban was from in NYC,

i would tell the person that i made it out of a scarf,

and they would immediately ask me to show them how.

it made me realize that there might be some other folks out there who are interested as well.

so i made it this month’s style spice video!

You are great at these videos – they are always informative and your friendliness shines through. Thanks for the tutorial! I like the idea of using a scarf turban in the summer to hold my hair off of my neck.
