i felt like dressing in a festive plaid and fall colors
for our FRIENDS. THANKSGIVING. celebration
in kansas city last weekend,
and to avoid looking like a lumberjack,
i added a lacey mini skirt and some interesting earrings.
(the huge stack of bracelets didn’t hurt either.)

I seriously, just last night, bought these shoes at Major Thrift in Grandview…while hunting for an ugly christmas sweater!! I almost died when I saw them…my husband made fun of them, and I was reading your blog today and saw them on you!?!?! Shut up!! I am so excited! I can’t wait to show him how awesome they really are!!!
